Dr. Lee has an extensive history and industry track record of delivering highest standards of business practices, boosting intellectual assets of multinational enterprises, innovative business solutions and strategies, serving as a C-level executive and strategic advisory in various sectors of technology, investment, and tech startups, equipped with in-depth knowledge of best proven business practices, strategy insights, project management expertise, business incubation and global management disciplines.

He formulates a series of winning strategies to enable successful delivery of projects, diagnose competitive assets with lean process improvement, and cultivating intellectual capital. His unique expertise has been accumulated from vast number of project experience by working with diverse project members including industry-leading management consulting firms, investment banking, venture capitals, industrial design and marketing agencies, multinational enterprises, intellectual property law firms and tech ventures, such as Goldman Sachs, GE Capital, McKinsey, Tsing Capital, Knobbe Martins, Greenberg, AST Research, IDC, Dataquest, IDEO, A-Best group and Samsung to name a few.

His management experience includes global business expansion with multi-billion-dollar operations, power brand strategy at Global Fortune 500 companies, such as Samsung, one of the biggest consumer brands and the largest semiconductor companies in the world, and managed the turnaround of worldwide mobile product lines at AST Research. He supervised technology integration and product innovation, covering the full spectrum of product planning, development, market research, industrial design, product launching, worldwide channel management, power branding, and assessment of new disruptive technologies for strategic alliance and mergers and acquisitions. He also raised financing for early stage tech ventures, and incubation of cross-border startups.

He has extensive experience in managing due diligence of corporate M&As, international financing, post-merger integration, and practicing management consulting, worked as Chief Information Officer at Healthcare investment funds, such as HCRE group, formulated a comprehensive turnaround strategy for the board, that transformed the investment fund to the stable recession proof portfolio in healthcare sector. He has brought numerous strategic alliance and international joint ventures, and advised growth strategies of tech ventures and startups.

He played a significant role in product innovation, such as winning “Top 100 Product Innovations of the Year” Award from Popular Science and numerous editor’s choice awards from industry publications including “Innovation award” from National Restaurant Association.

Dr. Lee was a recipient of Mobile Maven award by Mobile Insights for his outstanding contribution on the industry. Dr. Lee supervised the successful delivery and turnaround of the industry-first international 3G CDMA mobile wireless data project which had become the backbone of the smartphone industry, working with KT, the leading wireless provider in the region and AirPrime which was acquired by Sierra Wireless. He designed and advised the next generation, enterprise-class hybrid O2O e-commerce platform that worked as a technology backbone for a leading hypermarket chain store company in China, A-Best group, collaborated with Alibaba and Tencent group for payment software and mobile app integration and promotion program.

Dr. Lee served as C-level executives and the advisory board for tech ventures and startups in various industry sectors, including IT hardware and software, mobile wireless applications, big data and machine learning for business intelligence, biotech ventures for non-invasive 3D optical diagnostics, biofilm detection with bio-probe, innovative lead compounds, and was instrumental to win global clean-tech award and research grant competition.

Dr. Lee sits on the Advisory Board of technology ventures, nonprofits and academic institutions, including New York Institute of Technology’s Center for International Business Studies, Technology Advisory Group appointed by Korean government institutions, and serves as a mentor to MBA program at Crowell School of Business of Biola University and lectured at UCLA.
